The Path Taken

With betrayal and denial going on in the last part of John chapter 13 it seems so dark. But there are some "diamonds" in the rough that bring out such hope during hard and dark times. These are worth latching onto....

The Underserved

When we think about serving and following the example of Jesus, we rarely think about how that applies to those closest to us. Washing the dirty feet of a stranger doesn't seem all that bad compared to doing it for those in our families, our friends, or those we come in contact with all the time. Serving those around us is EXTRAORDINARY! Listen and see why...

Do I Believe

How do most people measure success? Numbers, attendance, a goal reached, etc. If we used that form of measurement with Jesus it wouldn't be a very stellar report. In chapter 12 of John we see that the success of Jesus' ministry is strickly through obeying his Father and seeing lives changed for eternity. Now that's a role model...

Identity Theft

Identity theft is not a new concept today. The people in Jesus day tried hard to steal his identity and replace it, and things haven't changed much since then. Listen and be challenged to live out the identity that God desires for us in Christ!

Voice In My Head

Be very careful with what you allow yourself to listen to and watch. We are all being influenced. The question is, are we being influenced to live for momentary desires that provide fleeting pleasures, or for eternally significant pleasures? What are the voices in your head saying?

Eyes Shut Tight

Jesus has a way of challenging us by turning life upside down. Sometimes, the blind see and understand while those who thought they could see and understand are still blind. Either way, Jesus shows His passion to get involved in the lives of people to bring them to a decision about His reality.

A Seat At The Table

We put our trust in political systems, religion, family heritage and an assortment of other man-made systems. John calls us out with a challenge to put our trust in Christ.
